Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that several draft documents are ready after another round of peace talks in Miami, Florida.
The talks in Miami are the latest held by the Trump administration, between Ukraine and other European delegations, as it works towards bringing an end to Russia's war on Ukraine.
Initial documents raised concerns that Kyiv would be pushed into heavy concessions, while Russia said that Ukrainian and EU involvement on the drafts was not productive in reaching a peace agreement.
Now, Zelenskyy seems satisfied with the draft documents prepared in Florida by his representatives, Ukrainian negotiators Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov.
"They worked productively with envoys of President (Donald) Trump and several draft documents have now been prepared," Zelenskiy said on X
“In particular, these include documents on security guarantees for Ukraine, on recovery, and on a basic framework for ending this war."
