NVIDIA's CEO has sold 100,000 shares of the company's stock in the last few days, worth nearly US$15 million.
The news broke via a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing, confirming that founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, made the sales on Monday and Friday last week, local time.
This is part of a multi-stage plan from Huang, where he aims to sell up to six million shares of the chipmaker by the end of the year, but he still owns more than 800 million.
The plan was first announced in March, then disclosed in NVIDIA's last quarterly report at the end of May. At the time of reporting, it was worth US$873 million.
Huang now has a net worth of approximately US$129 billion, landing him just inside the top 10 on Forbes' Real Time Billionaire tracker.
