United States stock futures were little changed on Tuesday night (Wednesday AEST), as investors awaited the release of key inflation data and Nvidia's latest quarterly results.
By 10:20 am AEST (12:20 am GMT), Dow futures were flat, while S&P 500 futures fell 0.1% and Nasdaq-100 futures declined 0.2%.
The major averages finished higher in the previous session, supported by falling Treasury yields and lower oil prices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3%, while the S&P 500 gained 0.3% and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.7%.
The July Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index, the Federal Reserve's preferred measure of inflation, is due later in the U.S. session on Wednesday.
Economists expect prices to rise 0.1% month-on-month and 3.6% year-on-year.
In June, the PCE price index fell 0.1% month-on-month and increased 3.6% from a year earlier.
The inflation report comes as the bond market remains in focus. U.S. Treasury yields hit multi-year highs last week, with the 30-year yield reaching its highest level in nearly two decades.
Yields fell broadly on Tuesday, however, with the 10-year Treasury yield declining almost eight basis points.
Meanwhile, Nvidia is due to report its second-quarter results, with Wall Street expecting earnings per share of $2.09 on revenue of $92.27 billion.
Investors will also be watching Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's speech at the central bank's annual symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for clues on the outlook for monetary policy.
