Australian private equity firm Advent Partners has sold pricing solutions and services company Flintfox to rebate management software company Enable.
The transaction for an undisclosed price was announced by Enable, which said it had had grown more than 40 times in five years.
Enable said the strategic acquisition combined expertise in rebate and pricing management to deliver a unified solution for managing trading partner incentives.
“Innovation has always been at the core of Enable, and this acquisition allows us to accelerate that,” Enable founder and CEO Andrew Butt said in a media release.
“The convergence of rebates and pricing reflects a transformative trend in B2B (business to business) trading.
“By combining Flintfox's dynamic pricing capabilities with Enable's AI-powered (artificial intelligence) rebate management platform, we are uniquely positioned to unify on-invoice and off-invoice strategies that help businesses grow together and strengthen trading relationships.”
Flintfox CEO John Moss said Enable and Flintfox shared a vision of helping businesses achieve smarter, more profitable trading strategies.
“By uniting our strengths, we’re setting a new standard in commercial optimization, enabling businesses to align pricing and rebate strategies to drive sustainable growth,” Moss said.
Advent Partners said it made its investment in Flintfox through its Advent Partners 2 fund in June 2020.
