United States stock futures were little changed on Sunday night (Monday AEDT) as investors prepared to enter the final month of the year following a strong weekly performance across major U.S. indices.
By 10:40 am AEDT (11:40 pm GMT) Dow Jones Industrial Average futures and S&P 500 futures traded flat, while Nasdaq-100 hovered ticked up 0.1%.
Monday signals the start of December, and markets head into the month with renewed momentum.
Last week, the S&P 500 surged 3.7%, the Nasdaq Composite jumped 4.9%, and the Dow advanced 3.2%.
However, November proved volatile. The S&P 500 and Dow ended the month essentially flat, while the Nasdaq slipped 1.5%, breaking a seven-month winning streak.
At its lowest point, the tech-heavy index was nearly 8% down from the end of October as concerns over artificial intelligence stock valuations weighed on sentiment.
