LinkedIn has announced its Top Companies list for careers this year, with tech companies making their mark on the rankings.
The top 5 spots were claimed by ServiceNow at number one and followed by Atlassian, Commonwealth Bank, Amazon, and Oracle.
The rankings were decided using LinkedIn data and metrics of career progression, including employee promotions, skill acquisition, gender diversity, and employer benefits.
LinkedIn Career Expert, Cayla Dengate said that the list was a “helpful resource” in Australia’s competitive modern job market, which would “identify which companies set the standard for attracting and retaining top talent”.
"As a rapidly growing company always on the hunt for top talent, we focus on both attracting and retaining high-performers,” said Peyton Caffey, ANZ HR Director at ServiceNow Australia and New Zealand, on their top ranking.
“One of the ways we do this is through the ServiceNow People Pact, which is our promise to employees. It commits we will support each other to deliver our best work, live fulfilling lives, and pursue our collective purpose."
Pritho Saxena, Director of HR - Australia at Amazon, also commented on the list stating that they were “proud that LinkedIn has recognised Amazon Australia's commitment to providing the resources and opportunities for people to thrive.”
