Kensington, a private guided travel company, has unveiled Kensington Expeditions, a new collection of bespoke journeys that combine luxury with immersive adventure across land, sea, air and space.
The programme’s centrepiece is the promise of curated visits to commercial space stations, part of the world’s first orbiting private outposts currently under development.
These experiences, expected to launch in May 2026, will give guests the opportunity to engage directly with “the final frontier”, offering a foundation for long-term living beyond Earth.
Beyond space, Kensington Expeditions features journeys guided by leading scientists, marine biologists, cultural experts and explorers.
Each trip integrates hands-on conservation and field research with exclusive cultural encounters, granting access to locations and activities far beyond the reach of traditional travellers.
Guests can participate in initiatives such as marine biodiversity monitoring, ecological studies and community-driven conservation projects, while enjoying tailored experiences led by private guides and specialists.
Sample itineraries include:
- A 12-day private superyacht voyage from Patagonia to Antarctica, complete with submersible dives, kayaking and research station visits.
- An exploration of British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest by yacht and wilderness lodge.
- A 14-day cultural immersion through Oman’s deserts, mountains and coastal dhows.
- A 10-day journey across Costa Rica’s diverse marine, volcanic and rainforest landscapes, blending yacht living with a hacienda stay.
For the ultimate adventure, a 34-day private jet journey along the equator will grant rare access to some of the world’s most remote and biologically rich environments.
Each expedition is supported by a project manager and enhanced with workshops, private sessions and immersive tours led by experts.
Travellers also receive bespoke gear, from monogrammed dive equipment to custom 3D star maps, alongside private access to yachts, jets, luxury lodges and exclusive camps.
Kensington said the initiative seeks to redefine luxury adventure travel by merging scientific engagement, cultural discovery and personalised service - culminating in experiences that reach from the depths of the ocean to the edge of space.
