Jonathan Anderson (pictured) has been appointed creative director of Dior, the first to take that mantle since Christian Dior himself.
At age 29, Anderson was appointed creative director of LVMH-owned Loewe in September 2013, a role he held for 11 years.
He created his namesake brand JW Anderson in 2008, in which LVMH took a minority stake in 2013, and will continue to take care of alongside his Dior responsibilities.
Anderson will present his first Dior collection, Dior Men Summer 2026, in Paris on 27 June.
“It is a great honour to join the House of Dior as Creative Director of both the women's and men’s collections. I have always been inspired by the rich history of this House, its depth, and empathy," he said in a statement.
