Woodlands Golf Club

Woodlands Golf Club is a private golf club restricted to members, however green fee play is available for Guests upon application. Please contact our Operations Manager Ethan Cowden via email to request a tee time: [email protected] . All players are required to produce a Letter of Introduction from their home club.

Green Fee golf rates are as follows:

  • Domestic: $300          
  • International: $400

Between the dates of Friday 28th November – Monday 8th December 2025 (inclusive) all non-reciprocal visitor green fess will be charged at $400pp.

 

If accommodation is required our preferred accommodation partner is Quest Cheltenham, only a short 9min drive away. Quest Cheltenham offers 4 star rated accommodation to one of Victoria’s booming bayside suburbs boasting a range of impressive Studio, One, Two and Three Bedroom apartments.

Member Introduced Guests

Guests accompanied by a member (not more than 3 at any time) are able to play at a green fee on no more than 6 times per financial year.

Wednesday

  • Guests shall not play on Wednesdays (Women Members Day) during the period 1 March to 30 November, except when invited by the Womens Committee.

Thursday

  • No visitors are permitted on Thursdays, except with permission of the President, Captain or General Manager.

Saturday

  • No visitors are permitted on Saturdays, except with permission of the President, Captain or General Manager.

Sunday

  • Members are able to introduce up to THREE Guests when the club is not hosting a special event
  • Only ONE guest is permitted when the club is hosting special events
  • A maximum of 12 Guests are applicable on any Sunday

Dress:

The Club is keen to ensure suitable, contemporary dress standards on the golf course and in the clubhouse.  As a guide, clothing and styles produced by recognised golfing apparel manufacturers will generally be acceptable if in accordance with our guidelines:

MEN

Course and practice areas

Neat golfing attire must be worn at all times.

  • Trousers: Without patch pockets, cargo pockets and not tucked into socks
  • Shorts: Without patch pockets to knee length (3/4 shorts are not permitted)
  • Shirts: Must have a collar or mock/turtleneck/skivvy and be tucked in
  • Socks: White socks / white with single golfing logo are preferred when wearing shorts

Alternatively, single colour socks to match shoes of same colour are permissible.

  • Shoes:  Golf shoes with soft spikes only must be worn on the golf course and provided they are clean and dry, may be worn in the clubhouse
  • Caps:  Must be worn with the peak/brim facing forward

NOT PERMITTED ON THE COURSE 

  • Denim jeans, cargo style shorts/pants, brief shorts, tracksuits, t-shirts or shirts without a collar
  • Any clothing carrying emblazoned advertising not relating to Woodlands promotional activities
  • Thongs, sneakers, sandals or metal spike golf shoes

CLUBHOUSE

Smart casual including:

  • Smart denim (no tears, designer rips or work denim)
  • Boat shoes, no socks
  • Dress shirts worn outside of trousers
  • Hats/Caps may not be worn in the Bar/Dining Room areas of the clubhouse

WOMEN

Course and practice areas

Neat golfing attire must be worn at all times.

  • Shorts: without patch pockets to knee length
  • Shirts: must have a collar or mock/turtleneck/skivvy and be of neat appearance
  • Shoes: golf shoes with soft spikes only must be worn on the golf course and  provided they are clean and dry, may be worn in the clubhouse
  • Caps: must be worn with the peak/brim facing forward

NOT PERMITTED ON THE COURSE

  • Denim jeans, cargo style pants, brief shorts, long baggy golf shirts, tracksuits or active wear, t-shirts or shirts without collar
  • Any clothing carrying emblazoned advertising not relating to Woodlands promotional activity
  • Thongs, sneakers or metal spike golf shoes

CLUBHOUSE

  • Smart casual including smart denim (no tears, designer rips or work denim)

Other Conditions:

  • Full time students 25 years and under (upon suitable proof, ie student card) may play at a discounted green fee equal to half the normal Member introduced guest rate.
