During Wednesday's regular trade, several tech companies experienced declines. CrowdStrike dropped 4.6%, Workday fell 6.2%, and Nutanix and Dell Technologies tumbled 12.3% each.
Meanwhile, Nvidia extended losses but managed to hold a key support level by the session's end.
On the positive side, homebuilder Toll Brothers rose within a buy zone as the sector benefitted from lower interest rates, continuing a broader rally among homebuilding stocks.
The U.S. stock market will remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, while global exchanges will operate as usual. Dow futures will continue normal trading. US stock exchanges will reopen for a shortened session on Friday, closing early to mark the holiday period.
