Telstra emails were down yesterday and some customers are still having issues gaining access.
Last night Telstra acknowledged the issue facing their customers accessing Bigpond and Telstra mail via the web.
“We've picked up an issue affecting some customers trying to access their BigPond/Telstra Mail via the web,” the statement said.
“Our team's on it, and we hope to have you back in your inbox soon. Using an app to access your mailbox (Outlook) may help in the meantime.”
Not long after, they released another statement saying the services were back online.
However, at around 8am (AEST) on Tuesday morning they made another post that said people may still run into issues if they log in through a third party app, like Outlook.
“In most cases, resetting your password should fix things for you. Our team are still monitoring and investigating any issues,” the post said.
“If you need help, reach out to us via phone or message in the My Telstra app or website.”
According to news.com.au and The Nightly, customers and businesses are still affected by the outage.
