Saudia was the world’s most on-time airport in June 2025.
Despite tensions in the Middle East, the airline remained punctual with an on-time performance of 91.33%, according to Cirium.
However, some airlines experienced dramatic decreases in their on-time ratings due to Middle East conflicts, including Emirates, which dropped from 99.88% to 71.48% and Qatar, which fell from 99.74% to 73.13%.
Middle East and Africa also had the most dramatic flight cancellation increase.
There were 7,689 flight cancellations in June in the Middle East and Africa compared to 2,571 in May.
In the Asia Pacific, Thai AirAsia took out top spot with an on-time performance rate of 87.71%. Qantas was the only Australian airline to scrape into the top 10 most on time in the Asia Pacific in eighth place with an on-time performance rate of 78.96%.
Asia Pacific remained the continent with the most flights cancelled, with 23,326 flight cancellations.
However, this is an improvement upon the 24,603 flights cancelled in May.
Overall, 84.73% of flights were on time.
