Qantas has hired some famous Aussies for their first campaign in a decade in the North American market.
The campaign, called 'Australia in the Sky', features Oscar-nominated producer, director, and writer Baz Luhrmann. In addition, it stars multi-Award-winning production and costume designer Catherine Martin. Model Jess Hart and actor and model Charlee Fraser also feature.
In addition to the appearances, actor Chris Hemsworth provided voiceover work for the campaign's film, presented in both a 60-second and 30-second format.

Music duo Angus and Julia Stone composed the soundtrack, while an array of Australian designers created the wardrobe for the campaign.
Luhrmann expressed pride in Qantas, highlighting the airline's unique spirit that delivers a touch of Aussie magic to every journey.
'Qantas' Los Angeles hangar was the location for the shoot, and the campaign features Australian landmarks - Bondi Beach in Sydney, Federation Square in Melbourne, etc. - and travellers enjoying Qantas' hospitality.
Convicts proposed the platform's creative director and conception, and director Justin McMillan directed the film.
Australia in the Sky debuts during Qantas' 70th year flying to North America. Project Sunrise, an offering that aims to link Sydney and New York directly in 2026, is an example of the airline's US-centric investments.
Australian in the Sky will run in the US through June next year, using TV, social media, and OLV channels.
