Ansell (ASX: ANN) has announced the departure of its CEO, Neil Salmon, after 13 years in the role.
He will be succeeded by Nathalie Ahlström, who has previously served in the CEO role at Finnish homewares company Fiskars Group, and she will serve the role from Ansell's hub in Brussels, Belgium.
The personal protection equipment company confirmed in its ASX announcement of the move, that Ahlström will commence a transition period with on 26 January with Salmon on board for support as special advisor to both her and the board until June 30th.
“Nathalie brings exceptional leadership experience, a track record of delivering results in complex global markets, and a deep understanding of innovation and operational excellence,” said Nigel Garrard, Chairman of Ansell.
He also thanked Salmon for his time at the company, saying he had played a “pivotal role…in creating the foundations of the company's recent success”.
After the announcement, Ansell was trading −2.22 or 6.24% by closing.
