A luxury penthouse on top of the world's skinniest skyscraper has hit the market for an eye-watering more that A$182 million
The Gilded Age inspired apartment is located at the top of Steinway Tower, an addition to Steinway Hall, which is an impressive 435 metres tall - but just 17 metres wide.
This makes the Tower the world's skinniest skyscraper with a height-to-width ratio of 24:1.
The new construction began in 2013, was completed in 2022 and is located on New York's Billionaire’s Row, next to the Central Park Tower.
Now its five bedroom, six bathroom penthouse is up for sale, with staggering views of the surrounding city thanks to its “quadplex” design.

Arranged over four floors, starting on the 80th storey, the property has two terraces and a multitude of floor-to-ceiling windows throughout to keep the cityscape as uninterrupted as possible.
First there is the entertaining suite on the lowest level, before heading further up the crown suite with its full bar and screening room, with marble and velvet adorning each space.
To round out the luxury, the penthouse also boasts original artworks by the likes of Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse on its walls and a 25-metre swimming pool.
