Fitness company Peloton have been hit with a safety recall for 833,000 of its exercise bikes, with two injuries reported.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall for the original Bike+ models, which start at AU$3,899, due to seat posts breaking and detaching during use.
This is the second time Peloton has faced a recall due to issues with its seat post and the fifth recall overall since the company's founding.

The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the bikes, adding that Peloton is offering a free seat post that can be self-installed at home.
The recall covers every original Bike+ the company sold that was manufactured between 2019 and 2022 and sold between January 2020 and April 2025.
The company's Q1 2026 earnings report, released today, showed a 6% decrease in total revenue year on year, down by US$35 million.
