The Middle East Business Aviation Association Show (MEBAA) is set to welcome over 10,000 visitors from 95 countries from 10-12 December.
More than 145 exhibitors will participate at the Dubai Airshow Site in the United Arab Emirates.
“The 10th edition marks a key opportunity to reflect on the remarkable evolution of the industry since the show’s inception almost two decades ago,” said MEBAA executive chairman Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi.
“It will also set the stage for the future, acting as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas that drive the industry forward.”
Aircraft charter company Chapman Freeborn reported over 100% growth in the region today ahead of their participation in the show. “MEBAA provides the ideal platform for Chapman Freeborn to connect with key industry stakeholders, corporate decision-makers, and global business travellers,” said the company’s Vice President Passenger Charters Claudia Krajhanzl.
Plane manufacturers including Boeing and Airbus will exhibit their aircraft on the show’s tarmac.
Business jet firm Bombardier will showcase its new ultra-long range Global 7500 and mid-sized Challenger 3500 models at MEBAA.
The U.A.E.’s share of the region’s business aviation market is now 40-45%, up from 30-35% in 2023.
Dubai and Jeddah represent almost 80% of spending on airport development in the region, according to a July report by Capa.
The market for private planes in the Middle East and North Africa is now US$566 million, and is projected to reach $943 million in five years.
