Arnold Palmer's former home in La Quinta, California, is for sale for US$5 million (A$8.07 million).
The late golf legend's property is located at the Tradition Golf Club, Palmer's course.
The home, built in 1999, has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms spread over 2,617 square feet (243 metres).
The living room features 16-foot (4.87-metre) beam ceilings, a relocated fireplace, and large glass sliding doors that open to the back patio.
Louise Bellisimo purchased the property in 2022 and renovated it. Saltillo tiles were installed in place of the original wood floors by Bellisimo. Besides enlarging the rear doors, she revamped the cabinets and bathrooms.

Bellisimo kept a few personal items, as well as two leather armchairs once owned by Palmer, while also donating much of Palmer's original furniture to the charity.
With panoramic views of the golf course and mountains, the home occupies less than half an acre. You can reach the clubhouse's locker rooms in just 167 steps, and the tee box is just 15-20 steps away.
Golf memorabilia on the property includes photos of Palmer with his famed caddie, Michael "Fluff" Cowan.
In order to be closer to her grandchildren, Bellisimo has decided to sell the property. Originally, she had not planned to sell, but felt forced to because of changes in the family.
Palmer died in 2016 at 87. From 1955 to 1973, Palmer won 62 PGA Tour titles. He ranks fifth on the Tour's all-time victory list. During a six-plus-year dominance from 1958 to 1964, he won seven majors.
The home is listed by Tamara Baron of Desert Sotheby's International Realty.
