Tasmania's Senate seats have been finalised following the 3 May federal election, with Jacqui Lambie and Richard Colbeck securing the last two spots after preferences were distributed on Tuesday.
Independent Lambie and Liberal incumbent Colbeck will join Labor's Carol Brown and Richard Dowling, Liberal Claire Chandler, and the Greens' Nick McKim in representing the state.
Senator Lambie expressed gratitude to her supporters in a statement published on the ABC, saying, "I am very grateful that the Tasmanian people have given me the chance to fight for them for another six years."
She emphasised her commitment to representing Tasmania and amplifying the voices of her constituents in Canberra.
Meanwhile, union organiser Josh Dolega has been officially confirmed to fill the casual vacancy left by Anne Urquhart, who was elected to Braddon's lower house seat. Dolega thanked ALP members for their support, stating his readiness to take on the important role.
One Nation's Lee Hanson, daughter of party founder Pauline, narrowly missed out on a Senate seat despite a strong early showing.
