Ferrari is continuing to develop their electric vehicle sector, even as other super and luxury car makers pull back.
Last month, the Italian luxury auto-giant announced its latest offering, the Luce.
The Luce is the first all-electric vehicle from Ferrari, featuring a 75% recycled aluminium chassis and an interior designed by Apple legend and veteran, Sir Jony Ive, with the exterior yet to be revealed.
The announcement of the Luce came just two weeks before Lamborghini confirmed they were scrapping their own fully electric supercar, first announced back in 2023.
“Ferrari has been one of the most successful companies in Europe, period,” said RBC Capital analyst Tom Narayan to CNBC
“I just think what Ferrari is doing is just hedging its bets and trying to cater to a customer demographic that definitely exists, while at the same time satisfying its core constituency."
