DroneShield Ltd has announced that it has received a repeat order of A$8.2 million for dismounted and vehicle-mounted Counter-UxS systems from a major European military customer.
DroneShield CEO, Oleg Vornik said large orders like this from repeat customers confirm to them that its products are meeting the challenge set by sophisticated military customers.
“As the threat of drones is increasing across the entire battlespace, militaries need broader packages like this one,” Vornik said.
“DroneShield is unique globally in that we can provide an entire ecosystem of dismounted, vehicle and fixed systems and link them all together.”
The company expects to deliver over the next three months.
While DroneShield has completed smaller orders amounting to $3.9 million, this is their first substantial for this customer.
This comes after DroneShield shares surged and almost doubled over the past 12 months.
Recently, the company announced several senior executives and advisory appointments to help them further grow the company as a pre-eminent defence technology company in Australia and globally.
