The Australian share market is expected to open higher today following a stronger finish in New York on Friday.
The S&P/ASX 200 March share price index futures contract was trading 23 points (0.27%) higher at 8,241 points at 9.40am AEDT (10.40pm GMT).

Join nowU.S. stocks ended in the green for the first time in six sessions on Friday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average adding 0.80%, the S&P 500 increasing 1.26% and the Nasdaq Composite surging 1.77%.
Across the week however the indices lost ground by 0.6%, 0.48% and 0.51% respectively.
On the bond markets, yields were down at 0953am AEDT with 10-year Australian Government rates sitting 0.23% lower at 4.429% and two-year rates down 0.31% lower at 3.881%.
