Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Regional Account Executive for their Las Vegas NV office. This is a relatively new office, the company is excited about transitioning Military veterans and are willing to invest deeply into the right candidate.
As a smaller company with high commitment to the development and retention of good employees, this is an exciting and unique opportunity to build a sales pipeline from the ground up - you set the vision for yourself and your Team!
Familiarity with the construction industry (particularly traffic control systems) is highly preferred, and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!
Compensation: $70,000-90,000 (+ 5% Commission on Gross Profit + company vehicle/gas card)
What You Will Do:
Build a sales team from the ground up with an aggressive hunter personality (preferably familiar with the nuances of construction and expeditionary traffic control.) Will be primarily engrossed in building a book of business (vs inheriting one.)
- Manage an effective sales pipeline and inventory of products
- Develop and maintain working relationships with new and existing customers
- Regularly contact branch managers and customers to discuss upcoming and ongoing projects
- Manage and exceed KPIs and targets
- Collect required documents for sales transactions
- Coordinate hand-off of sales to appropriate personnel; will eventually be involved in the hiring and selection of future salespeople
Education and Work Experience:
- At least 4 years of US Military experience required
- Will need an aggressive Hunter personality who KNOWS they want sales!
- Knowledge of construction and expeditionary traffic control preferred
- Client-facing role; must maintain a professional appearance
