Fresno Surgical Hospital
Fresno Surgical Hospital (FSH) is a fully licensed, Joint Commission-accredited hospital renowned for delivering award-winning surgical care and exceptional patient satisfaction. As a physician-owned facility, FSH focuses exclusively on providing advanced, affordable surgical services in a unique, hotel-like environment designed to promote comfort and healing.
Fresno Surgical Hospital is a unique partnership that includes physician owners, Trinity Health System, Dignity Health/CommonSpirit Health, and USPI. This unique arrangement has been in place coming on 5 years and requires a strong collaborator who is energized by accelerating performance and driving change through building a best-in-class culture for patients, personnel and physician partners.
Serving approximately 20,000 patients annually across Central California, including Fresno, Madera, Merced, Kings, and Tulare Counties, FSH features 13 Operating Rooms, and 5 treatment rooms that create a relaxing and family-friendly atmosphere. Patients enjoy restaurant-quality meals prepared by culinary-trained chefs, while staff, trained in hospitality techniques, ensure an outstanding care experience.

The CEO is responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff of the Surgical Hospital while demonstrating the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

The Candidate
Experience and professional qualifications required for the role:
- Applicant must have hospital (with emphasis on Surgical Division) or surgical hospital experience.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in facility or healthcare management, culminating in successfully leading a complex entity in a culturally diverse, competitive urban environment. Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
- The Governing Board may determine other qualifications as seen fit.
- Candidates must reside in the Fresno, California area or be willing to relocate.
