Nissan has launched a brand new electric vehicle; the LEAF.
It is a third-generation electric vehicle for the car manufacturer, with a internal combustion engine that has a significantly improved maximum range between charges, up to 303 miles (over 487 kilometres).
Charging speed has also been increased, along with an improvement to the tech and a reduction in motor vibration of 75% compared to the last model.
The interior screen will measure 12.3-inch or dual 14.3-inch, depending on grade and region, as well as some models boasting Bose speakers integrated into the front seat headrests.
“The Nissan LEAF reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainability. The original LEAF helped popularise electric vehicles, and this third generation invites consumers to embrace an EV lifestyle with a range of compelling features," said Nissan President and CEO Ivan Espinosa.
"It plays an important role in our Re:Nissan action plan, offering impressive performance, stylish design, and advanced technology.”
The LEAF will arrive first at U.S. retailers later in the year and other regions to follow.
