During Wednesday's launch attempt to the International Space Station (Thursday's AEDT), NASA and SpaceX were unable to launch because of a hydraulic system issue with a ground support clamp arm for the Falcon 9 rocket at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov have exited the Dragon spacecraft.
The next launch opportunity will be no earlier than 7:26 pm EDT on Thursday, 13 March, (10:26 am AEDT on Friday) from Launch Complex 39A at NASA Kennedy. NASA+ will begin covering the launch at 3:25 pm local time. Docking is scheduled for 11:30 pm (local time) on Friday, 14 March. At the launch site, the 45th Weather Squadron of the U.S. Space Force predicts better than 95% favourable weather conditions. The weather conditions along the flight path of the Dragon spacecraft are also monitored by teams.
NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, and Butch Wilmore, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, would depart the space station no earlier than 9:05 am (local time) Monday, 17 March, with Crew-10 launching on 13 March. Florida splashdown locations are subject to pending weather.
It is the 10th crew rotation mission of SpaceX's human space transportation system. With the Commercial Crew Program, it is the 11th flight to the space station with crew aboard, including the Demo-2 test flight.
