Brabus unveiled its Big Boy 1200 motorhome this week, a 12-metre vehicle that will be the newest addition to its Masterpiece line.
“It’s a new type of Masterpiece,” according to Brabus, “born out of the idea to create a Brabus luxury experience that moves with you, that adapts to your personality and that quite literally transforms ‘anywhere’ into ‘home’.”
The Big Boy 1200 is Brabus’ first recreational vehicle, and was produced in partnership with STX Motorhomes. Its price is set at EU€1.26 million (A$2 million).
The motorhome includes over 30 square metres of living space, with slide-outs on each side of the vehicle to expand the bedroom and saloon areas.
The Big Boy 1200 has a 12.8 litre six-cylinder turbodiesel engine, delivering 390 kW. Its top speed is 90 km/h.
The kitchen area includes an induction stove, oven, dishwasher, and fridge, as well as a separate wine fridge. 43-inch, 4K televisions are installed in both the saloon and living room, and the motorhome is equipped with a Starlink satellite dish.
The driver’s cabin has two seats upholstered in Brabus’ Masterpiece leather, and a bed that can be lowered for use.
Its bathroom includes a luxury rainforest shower, furnished with fine natural stone.
The North American recreational vehicle market was valued at US$49.69 billion (A$74.638 billion) this year, and the European market at US$30 billion in 2023.
Renegade RV also launched a luxury motorhome last month, the 13.4-metre 2025 XL.
