Wednesday’s release of Australia’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) is projected to show annual inflation easing to 2.9% for the quarter ending September, while trimmed mean inflation - a core measure closely watched by the RBA - is expected to decline to 3.5%.
The week ahead will also be critical for Wall Street as around 150 S&P 500 companies report quarterly earnings, including five of the major “Magnificent Seven” stocks: Alphabet, Microsoft, Meta, Apple, and Amazon.
